Tickets are now on sale at the Rialto Theatre for 91.3FM KXCI Celebrates 1971! Building on a budding tradition of KXCI Celebrates Woodstock and KXCI Celebrates 1970, we are proud to continue with KXCI Celebrates 1971. This all ages benefit concert features local musicians playing sets from the albums that rocked 1971. All proceeds support the KXCI Community Radio.
Saturday August 20th, ten performers take the stage at the Rialto Theatre. Starting at 5pm, the Kevin Pakulis Band, Atom Heart Mother, The Modeens, Silverfox, Tom Walbank, A Son Y Sol, Gila Bend, Five Way Street, Diane Van Deurzen and Lisa Otey, and Amy Rude cover classic albums from The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, John Lennon, Carole King, The Carpenters, David Bowie, John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat, CSNY, Pink Floyd and The Who.
So dust off your vintage 1971 attire, pack up the kids in the back of the station wagon and head to the Rialto Theatre for a 1971'derful time.
