Global Rhythm Radio's Matt Moon Hosts Trip to Globalquerque!

Get on board for a world music field trip!
Save by registering before August 9th!

This fall, your Global Rhythm Radio host Matt Moon is hosting a KXCI listener bus trip to the annual Globalquerque music festival, September 24th and 25th in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Performers this year include Susanna Baca (Peru), Kenge Kenge (Kenya), Emeline Michel (Haiti), Oreka TX (Spain), Simon Shaheen (Palestine), Khaira Arby (Mali), Deolinda (Portugal), Inti-Illimani & Francesca Gagnon (Chile, Quebec), The Flatlanders & Tom Russell (USA), Pietra Montecorvino (Italy) and more still to be named, all performing on multiple stages at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

To keep your costs down, we’ve negotiated special group discounts on tickets, hotel rooms, a deluxe luxury coach and much more. We’re offering “bus-only extras,” prize giveaways, a KXCI-exclusive hotel reception – maybe even a hiking trip with Matt atop Sandia Peak. This is KXCI’s first listener trip in over a decade, and we’re hoping you will be able to join us for the fun (and inspire us to go on even more trips in the future!).

Please see the section below for prices, registrations deadlines and more. If you have other questions not covered here, please e-mail randy@kxci.org and he’ll get right back with you.

Early bird registration (on or before 8/9/10): $695 per couple, $545 single for KXCI members; $745 per couple, $595 single for non-members. After 8/9/10, add $50 to each stated rate. A portion of each registration is tax-deductible.

Trip includes: Round-trip luxury coach bus travel to and from Albuquerque; two nights lodging in either of the festival’s official hotels (Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites or Marriott TownePlace Suites); a pair of tickets to each day of the festival; free breakfast each morning at the hotel; an exclusive KXCI road trip t-shirt, and anything else we cook up, including prize giveaways on the bus, meet and greets with musicians, etc.

Minimums for Trip: A minimum of 20 people must be registered by 8/16/10 or we will have to cancel the trip, with full refunds provided.
