We'd like to thank the crews who completed emergency repairs to the electrical service on Mt. Lemmon and have restored the power necessary for us to share our great music and public affairs programs once again to our Tucson listeners.
In the event we go off the air again (they are calling for more snow!), we are always able to stream live on KXCI.org and through applications like the Public Radio tuner on iTunes.
Thank you for your patience during our roughly 24 hours off the air!
At about 12:45 pm KXCI went off the air. The power where our transmitter is located on Mount Bigelow has been out due to the recent storms. The back up generator is now out of gas. Other local stations are also affected. We are uncertain when power will be restored to the area. We will continue to stream at www.kxci.org.
The KXCI Board of Directors meets on Thursday, January 21st at 5:30pm at the offices of Child and Family Resources, 2800 East Broadway in Tucson. The meeting is open to the public and you are encouraged to attend. Please click below for the agenda.
