KXCI Community Radio: Woodstock Week!
KXCI will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock with "Woodstock Week," August 10th to the 16th.
We've got a tribute concert at the Rialto, interviews with Woodstock performers like Richie Havens and Graham Nash, extra-special Woodstock-themed shows from our great deejays, Woodstock trivia and prizes, even a screening of the film for you!

KXCI Community Radio Website Upgrade
You can now see the songs our deejays are playing right on the left side of the homepage at KXCI.org, under the "Now On Air" banner (at least when they are typing in their playlist live). We're hoping to get all of them to do it soon. Enjoy, and refresh the page periodically as new songs are added!

KXCI Community Radio Summer Hours
Through August, KXCI Community Radio will be open to the public weekdays, 10am-4pm. The KXCI office is at 220 South Fourth Avenue, 1 1/2 blocks south of Broadway.

KXCI Presents Bill Callahan and Indie – Pendence Day Extravaganza!
There are a couple of great events that KXCI is presenting n this 4th of July weekend!
Friday it's Bill Callahan at Plush.
After almost 20 years of using the alias Smog for his music, Bill Callahan switched to his given name. With over 10 full-length, critically acclaimed albums to his credit, his latest effort is no different, Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle (out April 14).
Bill Callahan is recommended for fans of Iron & Wine, Will Oldham, Leonard Cohen and Lambchop. Follow That Bird! gets things started and doors open at 9pm.
Saturday its Downtown Tucson’s Annual largest outdoor 4th of July party.
Local First, KXCI and Hotel Congress present Indie – Pendence Day Extravaganza! A Pre and Post Fireworks Party Celebrating July 4th 2009 5pm – 12pm *6 Acts *Big BBQ all night *Raffle Prizes Only $5 Proceeds Benefiting Local First! of Arizona.
