Ben Kweller & Ra Ra Riot - Live In-Studio at KXCI Tuesday 9/30

Two great young acts will be stopping by KXCI's Studio 2A for performances on The Homestretch this Tuesday, September 30th.

Ben Kweller will be perform at Club Congress in a KXCI Presents show this Tuesday, 8pm. Kweller’s music has been described as ranging from “delicate folk-pop to full-on rock freak-outs.” His three full length albums on ATO Records have all caught the attention of KXCI DJ's and feature his quirky, witty and fun songs. Tune for a Live@5 solo performance 5pm.

Ra Ra Riot's debut full length release, The Rhumb Line, came out a little while ago on Barsuk Records. Bob Girth, host of KXCI's new indie show The Hub, selected it as his Pick of the Week and called the debut "pop like Vampire Weekend with the emotional subtlety of The Shins, both bubbly and bittersweet". I love the depth that the violin and cello bring to this indie pop rock. Tune in around 4:30 for Ra Ra Riot's performance on The Homestretch. They will be at Plush Tuesday night, the show starts at 9:30.
