Newest Public Service Messages

The newest public service announcements airing on YOUR Community Radio KXCI.

RED INK MAGAZINE holds a Native Voices Premiere Party on Friday, April 18th from 7 to 10pm at the U of A Poetry Center, 1508 East Helen. The event features poetry readings, music by the Panther Creek Drum Group and DJ Adam Carvell, and a silent auction and raffle. Red Ink Magazine features Native American and indigenous artists in the creative writing, poetry, and print mediums. Learn more at

FIESTA AUCTION: The 11th annual Kino School Baja Fiesta auction and cash raffle is Saturday April 26th, from 5:30 to 8:30pm at Kino School, 6625 North First Avenue. The event features a catered Mexican buffet, live steel drum band, an auction and cash raffle, and more. Proceeds will help Kino School buy a new van. For tickets and information call 297-7278.

ARIZONA INTERNATION FILM FESTIVAL: KXCI is a proud sponsor of the Arizona International Film Festival, April 17th through the 27th. Learn more at More than 80 films representing 15 countries will screen at various locations around town. April 22nd is KXCI Day, with the film festival giving KXCI members 2-for-1 admission to all films that day just for saying “I Love KXCI!” at the box office. KXCI presents the film “The Union: The Business Behind Getting High” on April 22nd at The Screening Room.
