MASTER GARDENER: The 11th annual Master Gardener Home Garden Tour is Saturday, April 12th. Sponsored by the University’s Cooperative Extension office, the tour includes working master gardens at various locations around Tucson. For more information and tickets, call 626-5161.

SAVE A CHILD: Child and Family Resources of Tucson works to build strong families and protect children from abuse. To support their program, the agency is holding its first annual online auction, featuring more than 100 items up for bid. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE: KXCI and the U of A's Student Health Advisory Committee are partnering to bring you the “Run For Your Life” 5K Run and walk, Sunday, April 13th on the U of A Mall. A $15 early registration gets you an official event t-shirt, while also supporting the Farmers Market at the U of A, UA 4 Food and the Tucson Community Food Bank. ISRAEL FESTIVAL: This year’s Israel Festival is Sunday, April 6th from 3 to 7pm at the Jewish Community Center, at River and Dodge. PALESTIANIAN: The U of A’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies presents a free talk by the PLO’s ambassador to the U.S. on Friday, March 28th at 7pm. The speech, entitled “Negotiating The Future: A Palestinian Perspective,” is in Room 100 of the U of A’s Social Sciences Building, 1145 East South Campus Drive.
