BOB DYLAN DAY: Sunday, Jan. 20th

Those great Bob Dylan specials that KXCI aired in October and November, talking about the different aspects of Bob's long career, are back again on BOB DYLAN DAY at your Community Radio - Sunday, January 20th from 10am to 3pm.

BOB DYLAN DAY radio documentaries feature Dylan performances and include interviews and recollections about Bob with keys folks like John Hammond, Dave Von Ronk, John Hiatt and Roger McGuinn. All the documentaries are hosted by Patti Smith.

Each can't miss documentary focuses on a different aspect of Dylan's storied career: the young folk troubador; the "electric" transformation; his religious period; and his return to folk/blues roots.

Tune in for 5 great hours of music from a living legend, and tune in for special premiums as well! BOB DYLAN DAY comes during the KXCI membership drive, and we'll be offering opportunties to grab Dylan music, documentaries, books and more.

Certainly wish I lived in Tucson. I'd be tuning in for sure.

But I thought I'd turn your listens on to my new novel, which I think they will love if they love Bob.

It's called BLOOD ON THE TRACKS, and it's a murder-mystery. But not just any rock superstar is knocking on heaven's door. The murdered rock legend is none other than Bob Dorian, an enigmatic, obtuse, inscrutable, well, you get the picture...

Suspects? Tons of them. The only problem is they're all characters in Bob's songs.

You can get a copy on or go "behind the tracks" at to learn more about the book.
