Tuesday's One Cup of Java Challenge

Tuesday's One Cup of Java Challenge: Dick Wilson, the actor who played Mr. Whipple in the "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" commercials, died yesterday at age 91. He had played Mr. Whipple in more than 500 commercials for the toilet paper company. His other acting credits include regular stints on “Bewitched” and “McHale’s Navy.” Today’s One Cup of Java Challenge question this morning asks you to name the city in New York where they filmed the first Mr. Whipple Charmin commercials. One clue: keeping in mind that we are talking about toilet paper, the city in New York is the funniest answer you can imagine.

Answer: The first Charmin commercials were filmed – in Flushing.
