Thursday's One Cup Of Java Challenge

Thursday's One Cup of Java Challenge: A little sports history for today’s One Cup question. On this date in horse racing history, 1938, the “Match of the Century” took place at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, with more than 40,000 fans in attendance. The horse race was widely as an effort to determine the best horse out there – and Seabiscuit won against heavy odds. Seabiscuit would get the book, the movie and the bronze statue. The losing horse in the Match of the Century gets to be today’s One Cup answer. Your challenge question this morning – what horse did Seabiscuit beat in the Match of the Century, 69 years ago today?

Answer: War Admiral
