El Casino Ballroom is turning 60!

The Latin American Social Club (LASC) celebrating 75 years and the El Casino Ballroom celebrating 60 years, are planning a Grand Anniversary Celebration for Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of November, 2007!

Doors will open from 7pm to 1am on Friday, November 16 with a Special Concert featuring the famous group Los DesperadoZ, Jonny Martinez and iMas band! The celebration will continue from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday November 17, with food, prizes and lots of fun--many performers and talented local artists will be there too!

Before the TCC existed, there was the Latin American Social Club and the El Casino Ballroom generating so many years of memories, history, cultural tradition and ambiance through the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's. Hundreds of international, national and local acts have performed at the old ballroom. Premier artists like, Tommy Dorsey, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Perez Prado, Tito Puente, Vincente Fernandez, Juan Gabriel and Little Joe, Sunny and the Sunliners, Jimmy Edwards, Malo, Ray Camacho, Los Lobos, and so many others. Numerous local bands have been and now continue to be part of El Casino's history, not to mention the thousands of families who have held their special traditional celebrations at this historical ballroom.

El Casino is a non-profit organization and is asking that you help in any way during this grand event and be part of this once in a lifetime celebration.
