Newest Public Service Messages

Here are the newest public service announcements (PSAs) provided free to non-profit organizations as a service of your Community Radio KXCI.

TUCSON MEET YOURSELF: Celebrate the richness and diversity of our community at Tucson Meet Yourself, October 12th through the 14th at El Presidio Park downtown. Sponsored by the Cultural Exchange Council, this free, family-fun festival has entertainment, folk arts, special events, and ethnic food from more than 20 regions of the world. Learn more at

VALLEY OF THE MOON: This Halloween season, bring the whole family for an evening of spooky fun at Valley of the Moon, Tucson's only historic fantasy park. The fun begins October 11th and continues through the 30th. For an events schedule and directions, visit

PIMA COUNTY LIBRARY / GED PROGRAM: Pima County Public Library offers free GED classes and testing that is open to all. The next 8-week session begins at Valencia Branch, 202 West Valencia Road, on Monday, November 12th. Space is limited. For additional information call 791-4811 or visit

BUSTAN: There will be a fundraiser for BUSTAN on Thursday, October 18th at 6pm at Temple Emanu-El. Bustan is an Israeli organization of Jews and Arabs that combines social and environmental justice work with sustainable technology. A Middle Eastern dinner will be followed with a multi-media presentation by Bustan’s founder and director. The event is free, with donations requested. Learn more at

WOMAN KRAFT: WomanKraft presents "The Water's Edge," a new theatrical drama by Linn Lane, running October 19th, 20th and 21st at the Proscenium Theater, 2202 West Anklam.
