Dwight Yoakam: Great Music, Questionable Movies

Tuesday's One Cup of Java Challenge: Singer and sometimes actor Dwight Yoakam is celebrating his 51st birthday today. Our One Cup focuses on his film career, which has ranged from great or solid performances in films like Sling Blade and Panic Room to perhaps the worst film of his career, a 2000 release that was shot here in Southern Arizona. Despite a cast that included Dwight, Peter Fonda, Vince Vaughn, Billy Bob Thornton and Pee Wee Herman - or maybe because of the cast - the film was widely panned by critics. Dwight might have blamed the director for his performance - except Dwight directed the film, too. Your One Cup of Java Challenge this morning: name this AWFUL Dwight Yoakam film, shot here in Southern Arizona. Bonus points if you suffered through it or worked on it.

Answer: South of Heaven, West of Hell.
