Roger Mikulas Benefit and Rockin' Dance Party

The Roger Mikulas Benefit and Rockin' Dance Party is Saturday, August 11th starting at 8pm at the Boondocks Lounge, 3306 North First.

Local musician Roger Mikulas suffered a head injury during the Folk Festival last May. He and his family have been having hard times since then, and some special Tucson musicians and volunteers are stepping up to the plate to offer emotional and financial assistance in a benefit and rockin' dance party. The public is invited and advised that it will be a sweaty night of fun for all. You have been warned...boots or birkenstocks, you are gonna dance.

The Wayback Machine opens the show, followed by the humble yet fabulous Kevin Pakulis. For this gig Pakulis is partnering with a special guest, the effusive and energetic Ned Sutton. Headlining is the The Last Call Girls, performing traditional country with a Chick-a-billy twist and original heart-wrenching tunes by Nancy McCallion.

You can enjoy all this talent AND support the Mikulas family at the same time on Saturday, August 11 starting at 8:00 p.m. Suggested donation of $10.00; advance tickets available now at the Boondocks. All proceeds will support Roger and his family during his recovery.

CAN'T COME TO THE PARTY BUT STILL WANT TO HELP THE MIKULAS FAMILY? Bless your heart. Call Elaine Schramm at 520-409-9900.
