Willy Mason - Live@5 - Thursday 3/22

Tune in to Live@5 on The Homestretch for an interview and performance with Willy Mason.

At 22 years old, Willy Mason already has a few years touring under his belt in support of his critically acclaimed album, Where The Humans Eat. He now has a brand new release, If The Ocean Gets Rough, that comes out this week on Astralwerks Records. New songs like Gotta Keep Walking and We Can Be Strong reflect the roving and changing times of his last few years on the road and his coming of age. His songwriting has grown stronger with more grit, yet still retains the universal imagery and innocence that made his last release so compelling. If The Ocean Gets Rough also captures Willy with a full band sound. It is a family affair featuring his brothers, friends and mother, as well as guest vocalist Rosanne Cash, who has publicly sung his praises. Willy Mason stopped by the KXCI studios on his way to Phoenix, on tour with Sondre Lerche.
