TKMA Fundraiser April 1st

The Tucson Kitchen Musicians' Association Spring Fundraiser happens Sunday, April 1, from 1 to 6:30pm at Old Town Artisans, 201 North Court Avenue in downtown Tucson. Admission is $8 with discounts available.

Proceeds will benefit the 22nd Annual Tucson Folk Festival, May 5 and 6th, downtown.

This year's fundraiser includes a Singer-Songwriter Circle, beginning at 1 p.m. Expect to hear some of your favorite Tucson artists: Larry Armstrong, Stefan George, Eric Hansen, Anne James, Lindianne Sarno, Duncan Stitt, Shorty Stubbs, Michael Tanzillo, Kathleen Williamson and perhaps a few surprises. Rotating in and out of the circle, each artist will perform 2 or 3 original songs.

After the Singer-Songwriter Circle, these groups will perform:
BK Special, featuring Bobby Kimmel
Stefan George and Lavinia White
None Too Soon, including Hank Childers, Nancy Lynn Bright, and Brad & Gail Fritz
Kevin Pakulis, with or without Larry Lee Lerma on bass
The Determined Luddites, featuring Dan Hostetler, Dan Davis, RandiPantera and Donny Russell

The event ends with a jam hosted by the Determined Luddites.

Food and beverages will be available for sale at Old Town Artisans during this afternoon of acoustic music.
