Matt Moon's Global Guests

Join Matt Moon on Global Rhythm Radio from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 as he talks with Tina Raimerez, founder and artistic director of Ballet Hispanico. Born in Venezuela, the daughter of a Mexican bullfighter and a Puerto Rican educator, Ms. Ramirez is the leader of the most respected Latin dance troupe in the world. Ballet Hispanico will perform on Saturday, March 3 at UA Centennial Hall.

Later in the program, Matt will talk with Will Clipman, Grammy-Award winning percussionist and composer who has recently returned from the Grammy Awards. Clipman was nominated for two Grammys for his recent rhythmic contributions to Native American recordings. Matt will talk with Will about musical projects, past, present and future, and how rhythm is the uniting force among people from different countries and cultures.
