Black History Month Continues on KXCI

KXCI celebrates Black History Month with locally produced segments featuring students and staff from TUSD and the U of A, members of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and other people from the community. Segments include brief biographies of influential African Americans, historical events, poetry and book excerpts.

The segments are scheduled to air:

Monday- Friday 10:30 am, 1:30pm and 5:15 pm
Saturdays 7:30 am, 5:30pm, and 7:30pm
Sundays 5:30 am, 6:30 am, 7:30 am,8:30 am,9:30 am and 1:30 pm

I have been deeply humbled and honored to have such tremendous community support. Many of the people who participated last year reached out to include more people for this year. I have really gotten a chance to learn from each person who comes in to share.
